What is the flow?

Each booking includes a 3-hour private bathing circuity with access for up to 6 people to the wood-fired sauna, wood-fired outdoor tub, cold plunge, Nordic cottage (shower, rest, tea, space).
You may also add-on a seasonally curated, fermentation-based snack board.
You will be greeted by your host, who will remain present only as needed to curate your experience along the way.
How do I prepare?

Eat lightly a few hours beforehand, hydrate well, avoid alcohol (which is also not allowed on the premises), bring sandals or easy pull-on boots, a robe, a bathing suit (cotton or wool is recommended), and other inactive wear like wool layers for winter, and a water bottle. Towels are provided.

Our sustainably inhabited property is tucked in the woods on private property in West Brattleboro, Vermont and anchored by a straw bale home. The Nordic Nook, where you will find repose, is a cottage built with all natural materials and finished in a pine tar exterior with a large picture window for seamless continueity between inside and outside. Your ameneties are located on garden paths a stone’s throw from your private resting cottage.
We ask guests to move gently through the land.
what are the logistics?

We are located off-road with a steep and windy driveway. Snow tires or AWD/4WD are highly suggested in wintertime The final stretch is part of the transition — from pavement to pine, but if severe weather is expected, we’ll communicate proactively.

what is your cancellation policy?
Your time is reserved for you alone (or together). We are happy to accommodate requests to change your booking up to one week prior to your reservation to avoid a full booking charge otherwise.
In inclement weather, should it be impassable, we will work with you on a new way or a new time.
